Privacy Policy

Lakeshore Floors & Interiors ("we," "us") provides flooring, tile, countertop and interior finish services in West Michigan. This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Quote request form: your name and email, plus anything else you choose to add. That can include your phone number, town, the kind of customer you are, the services you are interested in, your timing and the details of your project.
• Spam protection: when you send the form we keep a scrambled, one-way version (a hash) of your IP address, not the address itself, to limit repeated posts. It is cleared out the next time the form is used after an hour has passed.
• Server logs: like most websites, our web host may keep standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) for security and troubleshooting.

We do not ask for payment information on this website.

How we use it

• To answer your request, prepare a quote and, if you hire us, plan and complete your project.
• To keep the website secure and free of spam.

We do not sell your information or share it for advertising. We share it only with the companies that run this website and our email (our web host and email provider), or when the law requires it.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies for visitors. We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or social media pixels, and our fonts and images are served from this website, not a third party.

The only cookie is a strictly necessary login cookie used by the site owner when signing in to manage the website. It is set only when someone opens the owner login page, is never used for tracking, and is deleted when the browser is closed. If an owner chooses "Keep me signed in," a second login cookie stays on that device for up to 30 days, or until they log out.

Links to Google and to photo credits on Unsplash take you to those sites, which have their own privacy and cookie policies.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests as long as we need them to respond and, if you hire us, to complete your project and keep normal business records. Requests that do not turn into a project are deleted within 12 months.

Your privacy rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what information we have about you and send you a copy,
• correct information that is wrong,
• delete your information.

To make a request, email info@lakeshorefi.com. Tell us what you would like done and the name and email you used on the form. To protect your privacy we may ask you to confirm the request from that same email address. We will respond within 30 days and will not treat you differently for making a request.

Security

Form submissions are stored on our web host in files that are not publicly reachable, and our dashboard is password protected. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children

This website is meant for adults planning projects. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update it here and change the effective date at the top.
